Capire come farlo al meglio e come cambiano sono le regole. Per trattare l’argomento e lanciare un messaggio di ripresa postpandemia  Tototravel.it, grazie alla collaborazione con Malibu GMBH & CO, ha messo su una grande sfida (presentata al ‘’Salone del Camper’’ – Fiere di Parma – Padiglione 6 stand G012 – dal 9 al 18 settembre): attraversare tutta l’Europa, letteralmente “in lungo e in largo ” in soli 20 giorni! Ecco i dettagli della sfida, i dettagli sui luoghi da visitare e gli itinerari camper Europa scelti. Traveling by camper in Europe is the dream of many, to visit it all and discover its beauties and secret places. Tototravel.it, thanks to the collaboration with Malibu GMBH & CO, has set up a great challenge (presented at the “Salone del Camper” – Fiere di Parma – Hall 6 stand G012 – from 9 to 18 September): to cross all of Europe, literally “far and wide” in just 20 days! Here are the details of the challenge, the places to visit, and the selected European camper itineraries.

Tra i possibili itinerari in camper in Europa abbiamo scelto il più difficile ed emozionante e creato una nuova impresa. L’obiettivo è raggiungere in camper tutti i punti estremi (Est, Nord, Ovest e Sud) d’Europa, passando per il centro, il punto più basso e il più alto, il tutto viaggiando con alcuni bruchi che proprio in quei venti giorni si trasformeranno in farfalle, giusto in tempo per essere liberati all’arrivo! The goal is to visit all the European extreme points by camper: the easternmost, the northernmost, the southernmost, the westernmost, passing by the center, the lowest, and the highest, with some caterpillars that will transform into butterflies just in time to be set free at the arrival point!

Questa nuova missione porta a livello europeo la recente avventura nota come “20 Regioni – 20 Giorni = Impatto 0“ e che ha riscosso un enorme successo mediatico: visitare tutte le 20 Regioni italiane in soli 20 giorni viaggiando esclusivamente su un piccolo scooter elettrico e portando i bruchi in tutta Italia per poi vederli librarsi all’arrivo come bellissime farfalle. Un augurio per la ripartenza a tutto il belpaese, dopo le tristi vicissitudini dovute al Covid-19! This new quest takes to a European level the recent successful adventure, well known as “20 Regioni – 20 Giorni = Impatto 0“. This entailed visiting all 20 Italian Regions in only 20 days traveling exclusively by a small electric scooter to take the caterpillars to be set free at the final destination, as a wish for post-Covid-19 societal restart.

Il veicolo scelto per la nuova avventura e ritenuto perfetto per viaggiare in Camper in Europa con tutti i confort è il Malibu I 430 LE. Questo permetterà alla rocambolesca compagine di avere un camper equivalente ad un’autovettura per quanto riguarda il codice della strada ma, allo stesso tempo, tutte le caratteristiche distintive del nuovo Malibu GENERAZIONE M, ovvero un comfort elevato. The vehicle chosen for the brand new adventure in Europe is the Malibu I 430 LE. It will give the chance to have a motorhome equivalent to a car concerning traffic regulations and, at the same time, all of the distinctive characteristics of the new Malibu GENERATION M, and therefore a complete motorhome comfort.

A guidarlo sarà Salvatore Magliozzi, esperto di wild turism, Tourism Marketing Specialist  e scrittore, che ha trascorso più di 25 anni in giro per il mondo visitando oltre 100 destinazioni, vivendo numerose avventure nella natura selvaggia e persino una in orbita. It will be driven by Salvatore Magliozzi, a Tourism Marketing Specialist, wild tourism expert and writer, who spent more than 25 years traveling the world visiting over 100 destinations, experiencing numerous adventures into the wild and even one in orbit.

I punti Estremi d’Europa Furthermost points of Europe

Il viaggio inizierà il 25 settembre dal punto più Orientale per percorrere l’Europa intera, fermandosi in tutti gli altri punti estremi, nell’ordine: The trip will start on September the 25^th from the Easternmost point (Virmajärvi in Finland, on the border with Russia, due to earth shap, surprisingly the easternmost point of the continental EU) to travel all around Europe stopping by all the other extreme points: 

• il punto più a Est d’Europa – 31° 35′ EST – Virmajärvi (Finlandia): al confine con la Russia. A causa della forma della terra, è sorprendentemente il punto più orientale dell’Unione Europea continentale; The Easternmost point of Europe 31° 35′ E – Virmajärvi (Finland): at the Russian border. Due to the earth’s shape, this is surprisingly the Easternmost point of continental Europe;
• il punto più a Nord d’ Europa 71° 11′ 08″ N – Knivskjellodden (Norvegia): il vero punto più a nord! Capo Nord (che sarà comunque raggiunto dalla spedizione) è “solo” a 71° 10′ 21”N; The Northernmost point of Europe 71° 11′ 08″N –  Knivskjellodden (Norway): the real northernmost point! North Cape is “only” 71° 10′ 21” (and will be reached as well by the expedition); 
• il più basso artificiale- 293 m sotto il livello del mare: Tagebau Hambach (Germania), una miniera di carbone a cielo aperto; The LOWEST MANMADE, – 293 m below sea level: Tagebau Hambach (Germany), a large open-pit coal mine; 
• il centro geodetico 49°50′35″N 9°54′07″E: Gadheim (Germania) sito del centro geografico dell’UE.(Gadheim in Germania); The Geographic CENTER,  49°50′35″N 9°54′07″E: Gadheim (Germany), site of the UE geodetic center;
• il punto più alto 4.810 metri: Il Monte Bianco (Italia) la montagna più alta d’Europa; The HIGHEST, 4,810 meters; – Mont Blanc (Italy) the highest mountain in Europe;
• il più basso naturale,- 10 m sotto il livello del mare: Etang de Lavalduc (Francia), una laguna naturale di acqua salata; the LOWEST NATURAL, – 10 m below sea level: Etang de Lavalduc (France), a natural saltwater lagoon;
• il più a Ovest 9° 30′ OVEST: Cabo da Roca (Portogallo): il punto più occidentale di tutto il continente eurasiatico; The Westernmost point of Europe, 9° 30’ W – Cabo da Roca (Portugal):  the westernmost point of the whole Eurasian landmass
• l punto più a sud: 36° 0’ 15” N – Punta de Tarifa (Spagna): un’ex isola, ‘’Isla de Tarifa’‘, ora collegata alla terraferma da una strada rialzata; The Southrnmost point of Europe: 36° 0’ 15” N – Punta de Tarifa (Spain): the southeastern tip of a former island, known as Isla de Tarifa now connected to the mainland by a causeway

il tutto in in soli 20 giorni! in only 20 days!

I punti estremi d'”Europa” dipendono dalla definizione del suo territorio. In questo caso, è stata considerata l’Unione Europea (continentale) più l’Area Schengen, poiché così è stata considerata l'”Europa” durante la pandemia. The furthermost geographical points of “Europe” depend on the definition of its territory. In this case, it has been considered the Continental European Union plus the Schengen Area since that is how “Europe” has been defined during the pandemic. 

Quest’area, inoltre, coincide con l’Europa geografica anche dal punto di vista culturale, poiché gli Urali e altri Paesi Orientali sono da sempre considerati “Europa dell’Est“. Furthermore, it also matches with the geographical ‘’Europe’’ culturally since the Urals and other Countries are more considered to be ‘’Eastern Europe’’. 

Comprese alcune deviazioni, il percorso sarà lungo oltre 9.000 km e richiederà centinaia di ore di guida, tutte effettuate da Salvatore Magliozzi, poiché la fotografa che lo seguirà si occuperà solo di realizzare il materiale necessario a documentare questa esperienza straordinaria senza precedenti. Including some detours, the route will be over 9,000 km long needing hundreds of hours of driving, all done by Salvatore Magliozzi since the photographer/cameraman will only be there as a technician to make the best shots of the amazing and unique experience.

I bruchi (Pieris brassicae) saranno liberati come farfalle al punto di arrivo in collaborazione con il Team di Entomologi di “Smart Bugs” che da tempo collabora con Tototravel.it. The caterpillars (Pieris brassicae and Papilio Machaon) will be set free as butterflies at the arrival point in cooperation with an Entomologist Team that often works withTototravel.it.
